British Army blockade roads in Ismalia, search patrol

Jul. 18, 1953 - 18-7-53 British Army authorities blockade roads in Ismalia. The Egyptian Minister of National Guidance Major Salem held a press conference in Cairo recently, following the British ultimatum to the Egyptian Government, which followed the disappearance of British soldier Rigden. The British Army immediately blockade roads to and from Ismalia, stopping and searching all vehicles in the area.
