British press visit US Polaris submarine in Scotland
Feb. 28, 1963 - British Pressmen Visit US Polaris Submarine Ethan Allen'. A number of pressmen made a visit today to see the United States Polaris submarine moored near the Holy Loch, Scotland, and were taken on a trip to sea. Ten officers and ninety men operate the 50, 000, 000 vessel - which carries more destructive power than the total unleashed by both sides during the whole of the last war.
