British press visit US Polaris submarine in Scotland

Mar. 03, 1963 - British Pressmen Visit US Polaris Submarine. Eating Chicken Cooked By Atomic Energy: A number of British pressmen today made a visit to the United States Polaris submarine Ethan Allan moored near the Holy Loch, Scotland, and were taken on a trip to sea. Ten officers and ninety men operate the 0, 000, 000 vessel - which is said to carry more destructive power than that unleashed by both sides during the whole of the last war. Photo Shows Members of the Ship's Crew eating in the mess of the USS Ethan Allen. The meal is of roast chicken, cooked by Atomic Energy while submerged off the coast of Scotland
