British press visit US Polaris submarine in Scotland

Mar. 03, 1963 - British press men visit US Polaris Submarine. Ship's crew beneath the control tower. A number of British pressmen yesterday visited the United States Polaris submarine Ethan Allen moored near the Holy Loch, Scotland, and were taken on a trip to sea in the £50, 000, 000 craft. The submarine is said to carry more destructive power than that unleashed by both sides during the whole of the last war. Photo shows some of the ship's crew mustered beneath the control tower of the USS Ethan Allen off the coast of Scotland. Above the tower is the complex radar scanner
