British press visit US Polaris submarine in Scotland
Jan. 01, 1963 - British Pressmen visit US Polaris submarine press conference beneath the ocean. A number of British Pressmen yesterday visited the United States Polaris submarine - Ethan Allen moored near the Holy Loch - Scotland - and were taken on a trip to sea in the £50, 000, 000 craft. The submarine is said to carry more destructive power than that unleashed by both sides during the whole of the last war.
