Bruno Werner leaves Neue Zeitung for Washington

Nov. 25, 1952 - Bruno E. Werner takes his leave. The famous culture critic and writer Dr. Bruno E. Werner, who was editor of the arts section of the Neue Zeitung for the past several years, is going to Washington as a cultural attache of the German charge d'affaires. The Munich Toucan-Circle threw a farewell party in his honor, at which Werner read from his material. Our picture shows the parting critic (L) with his successor Dr. Wolfgang Drews, who will take over Werner's place as editor of the art section of the Neue Zeitung
