Mar. 03, 1959 - Bubble cars for the disabled; Members of Britain's leading ex-servicemen organizations were to be seen in Portland Place this morning at the handing over of Two seater bubble cars which they hope to prove to the Ministry of Health are suitable for use by disabled exservicemen. The Organization providing the cars are the British Limbless Ex-Servicemen's Association; British Legion and the Royal Air Forces Assoc. The vehicles are being tested by ex -servicemen. Photo Shows Ex-Airman D.H. Williams of Isleworth, who suffer from paraplegia seated in one of the bubble cars - an Isetta-which has a 300 c.c. engine and does 65 m.p.g
