Tortures Of The Middle-Age on Twelve Year Old Girl Story In Athens. The transportation to a Piraeus hospital of a twelve year old girl brought to light a story of middle-age tortures that has created a sensation throughout Greece. George Veijades and his wife Antigoni have been charged with torturing the girl Spiridoula Rapti by burning her body with an electric iron. The couple own a night club - and the girl is employed by them as a junior maid - and it is alleged that they tied the girls nude body on a table and for two days were torturing her with the hot iron in an effort to make her confess that she had stolen 0 that they had lost. When she lost consciousness they threw water into her face to revive her - and then continued with the torture. Whey they discovered that the girl was in a bad condition they took her to the hospital telling the authorities that she had burned herself accidentally.
