German built round house - and roof house: Photo shows two of the unique exhibits at the Ideal Homes Exhibition which opened at Olympia today are the Round House which is designed to be carried by helicopter to areas of the Belgian Congo - or which can be floated down the river - It is 13ft. high and 15ft. wide - and the Roof House. In the first stage the roof is built on the ground and in its shelter are constructed three bedrooms - a living room - kitchen - dining room - and bathroom.. When finances permit a ground floor can be built and the roof section is hoisted up to be placed on top of this ground floor to make a two storeyed house.. Both these houses come from Germany
