Sep. 09, 1958 - How they Combat Teddy Hlganism in Athens.: Two Teddy Boys - members of wealthy Greek families - were recently arrested in Athens - after threw curdled milk into her face. Mr. Kalatzis the Minister for the Interior thought up a new way of shaming them. He ordered that their hair be cut as short as possible their American type jeans were cut at the ends - and they were taken through the main streets of Athens wearing posters reading - We are Teddy-Boys; we have thrown curdled milk at a lady'.
