1968 - Traditional Greek Easter EGG custom. The Greek Regent, general George Zoitakis, visited Military camps to take part in the traditional Easter customs one of which was the custom of egg breaking striking one's own egg against another's. As Easter coincided this year with the first anniversary of the revolution the red eggs carried a narrow paper slogan- written in Greek 21st. April. Christ is Resurrected. Greece is resurrected.
