Aug. 08, 1956 - Nationalizes Suez Canal Company Holds First Meeting: Under the directorship of MTRE Mohamed Abou Nossei, the Minister of Commerce the first meeting of the Nationalized Suez Canal Company was held at company head office at Ismailia recently.
