Apr. 10, 1959 - 10-4-59 Tony Vandervell is presented with the Dewar Trophy Mr. Wilfrid Andrews, Chairman of the R.A.C. today presented the Dewar Trophy for 1958 to Mr. G.A. ('Tony') Vandervell, at a luncheon at the Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall. The Dewar Trophy is awarded for the most outstanding technical performance during the year, in this case the winning of the manufacturers championship by Mr. Vancervell's team of Vanwall racing cars.
