Oct. 10, 1959 - Shani Wallis Publicity Stunt At Brighton: Police at Brighton yesterday said that papers in regard to the recent publicity, stunt at Brighton - in which singer Shani Wallis rescued a downing man - have been sent to the Director of Prosecutions. During the incident Shani Wallis herself was rescued by a holiday maker, 22, year old Brian Scott who lives in Peckham, London, who is disgusted to learn that the whole thing was just a publicity stunt - as he might have been drowned himself - he was so exhausted after the incident that he had to spend two days in bed. According to Brian O'Handlon the publicity agents - Shani Wallis knew nothing about the stunt herself. Photo shows Brian O'Hanldon publicity Agent
