Dec. 12 Carl Mertz made it in time The President of the Olympic Building Company, Carl Mertz, will turn over the facilities built at the Munich Olympic site (which cost as scheduled 1.35 milliards of marks) to the Olympic committee, exactly on July 1st. Carl Mertz, successful building manager who built and restored almost all important state building in West Germany, will become the Golden Watch of Punctuality 1972.
