Businessmen - CEO's - Executives

Dec. 12 Mr. G.R. McGregor, President of Trans-Canada Air Lines has now flown in the new Vickers Vanguard turbo-prop airliner, twenty of which are on order for T.C.A. Mr. McGregor a former Battle of Britain pilot, flew the Vanguard off from the Vickers Airfield at Wisley, Surrey and made two landings. He also accompanied Vickers Chief Test Pilot, Jock Bryce, on a 5 1/2 hour test flight. Said Mr. McGregor, The Vanguard is as I had expected it to be - as good as the Viscount, and twice as big'. He added that he was particularly impressed by the three-engined climb performance with flaps and wheels down. It was never below 1, 000 feet a minute'. With Mr. McGregor in the Vanguard cockpit, after landing is Mr. Bryce
