Businessmen - CEO's - Executives

Nov. 11, 1960 - The Launderette is his studio.: Mr. Michael Osterwell of Stanmore, Middlesex - who owns two Launderettes- one at Barnet and one at New Barnet - London - is to open an exhibition of paintings at Leighton House Galleries. Most of his painting and drawings were produced at his launderettes- with his customers as Models'. Michael - who comes from Israel - said that at first the customers were rather shy of having their portraits painted in front of other customers - but that soon changed - and now they are all only took keen to sit for him. Photo shows Michael Osterweil sketches one of his customers - Mrs. Jeanette Breslau while she sits in fron of a Washington machine at his Launderette at High street, Barnet
