Jul. 07, 1964 - Ferranti Chief In Family Showdown At The Company's Annual General Meeting In London: The Ferranti missile scandal brought a Ferranti family dispute into the open yesterday when Mr. Sebastian De Ferranti, chairman of the electronics firm, heard a demand that his uncle, Mr. Denis De Ferranti, should rejoin the firm's board. The demand was made by accountant, Robart Moore, at the company's annual general meeting in London. It came during the question time on the firm;'s annual report, which mentioned the 1/2 million profit made by the company on a Government Contract for Bloodhound guided - missile project. Danis de Ferranti formed his own electronics firm after he left the board of Ferranti Ltd. in 1951.
