Jul. 07, 1964 - Sir John Lang Whose Ferranti Affair Report Caused Commons Strom. Sir John Lang (67) seen at his home at Walton-on-the-Hill, Surrey as he feeds his goldfish last evening. Sir John Lang - who is Chairman of two companies - is the man whose report on the Ferranti affair caused a sensation in the House of Commons. The report will be followed by a second part in the Autumn - and will deal with how to prevent anything like the Ferranti Affair happening again. The Government has accepted he Ferranti offer of the return to the Treasury £4, 250, 000 from the profit of £5, 772, 964 on the Bloodhound Missile Contract
