Oct. 13, 1965 - Sir Rex Cohen Rejects Mr. Charles Clore's 55 million take-over bid. This afternoon they called a press conference at which they disclosed their reasons for rejecting the bid. But it is believed that Mr. Clore will fight on and probably make his offer direct to the shareholders over the head of Lewis's board.
