May 05, 1973 - Lord Jellicoe resigns from government: Lord Jellicoe, Lord Privy Seal, today resigned from the Government. In a letter to the Prime Minister today, Lord Jellicoe says: When you told me yesterday that my name was being linked with allegations about a ring of call girls, I thought it right to tell you that unhappily there was justifications for this because I had some casual affairs which, if published would be the subject of criticism.
