Oct. 10, 1979 - Times Newspapers Hold Board Meeting. Members of the Times Newspapers board held a meeting this morning after the talks with the Unions collapsed last night. After their meeting they left the Times building for a meeting with the Thomson board and Lard Thomson who has flown in from Canada to decide if the Times will now close down for good.
