Sep. 09, 1977 - President Of The Employers Association Hanns Martin Schleryer Kidnapped: A new terror attack took place on Monday 5th Sept in Cologne, when the President of the Employers Association and of the Federal Association of the German Industry. Hanns Martin Schleyer, 62, was kidnapped while driving in the city. His three bodyguards and driver of the car were shot down and killed. The kidnappers have demanded the release 11 urban guerrilla, including the Baadar-Meinhof ring leaders with 5, 000 each and flown to a country of their choice.
