Feb. 02, 1991 - COCA COLA IN EASTERN GERMANY. The Coca-Cola Company announced on Tuesday at the World Economic Forum in Davos that it had signed an agreement in principle with the Treuhandanstalt, the German state trust, to purchase selected soft drink bottling and distribution operations in eastern Germany. The agreement will allow the Coca-Cola Company to invite the second phase of a major capital investment program to build its soft drink business in eastern Germany. Our picture shows Donald R. Keough, president and chief operating officer of the Coca-Cola Company, demonstrating his conviction at the World Economic Forum in Davos
