Oct. 10, 1969 - Uproar At Meeting Of Pergamon Press Shareholders At The Connaught Rooms: As Mr. Robert Maxwell, Labour MP and Chairman of Pergamon Press was about to open the meeting of Shareholders who were their to decide whether Mr. Saul Steinberg's Leasee team should take over management control of Pergamon from Mr. Maxwell, four men jump up onto the Platform and one of them solicitor, tried to speak to the meeting. After a few minutes he left the platform as the microphones went dead and the shareholders were chanting and hand with his three colleagues.
