Oct. 10, 1969 - Uproar At Today's Special Meeting Of The Pergamon Press Shareholders: Mr. Robert Maxwell, millionaire Labour MP and the head of the Pergamon Press Publishing empire, caused a sensation at the shareholder's meeting at the Cnnaught Rooms, London, today when he revealed that the Leas Data Processing of America, had obtained an injunction to prevent him from adjourning the meeting.
