Oct. 10, 1969 - Uproar At Today's Special Meeting Of The Pergamon Press Shareholders: Mr. Robert Maxwell, millionaire Labour MP and the head of the Pergamon Press Publishing empire, caused a sensation at the shareholder's meeting at the Cnnaught Rooms, London, today when he revealed that the Leas Data Processing of America, had obtained an injunction to prevent him from adjourning the meeting. The meeting had been called to vote an resolutions proposed by Pergamons Press to confirm Mr. Maxwell as the head, but counter-proposals by Rothschild sought to remove the whole Pergamon board and substitute Lease men.Photo shows Jacob Rothschild (right) pictured with one of his associates representing Leases as their advisers, vote favour of Lea men on the board, at today's meeting
