Bust of Leos Janacek by sculptor Milos Axman, Brno
Jun 15, 1979; Moravia, Czech Republic; Academic sculptor Professor Milos Axman, Czechoslovak artist of Merit, has completed a bust of Leos Janacek (1854-1928). The bust of this Czech composer, a world-renowned pioneer of modern music, is designed for the foyer of the Leos Janacek Theatre in Brno, southern Moravia. The bust will be unveiled at the opening of the Janacek Brno summer festival, in Brno from June 24th to July 2nd.
