Mar. 13, 1960 - 13-3-60 Musgrave wins the big walk The 1, 000 marathon walk from John o Groats to Land's End, was won today by the Yorkshire glass packer, Jimmy Musgrave, with John Grundy, a railway worker, also of Yorkshire, second, and Alf Rosentals, a miner, of Nottingham, third.
