Sep. 09, 1958 - Prince Norodom Sihanouk Inaugurates His Working Policy In Cambodia. Under the leadership of Prince Norodom Sihanouk - Prime Minister of Cambodia recently inaugurated his Working Policy when 30, 000 Cambodians took part in the construction of a 13 KM. long road to link the villages of Dangkor and Wat Sleng - about 20 kilometres from the capital. Under this policy the Prince has decreed that in future all government officials - including princes - M.P.s soldiers - police etc. must spend one month a year in manual labour in field or in factory. The crusade for manual labour aims at the levelling of the different classes.
