Sep. 09, 1958 - Prince Norodom Sihanouk inaugurates his Working policy in Cambodia. Under the leadership of prince Norodom Sihanouk, prime a Minister of Cambodia - 30, 000 Cambodian a took part in the construction of a 13 KM long road linking the village of Dangkor and Wat Sleng, about 20 Km from the capital. This was the inauguration of the prince's Orking Policy - under which all government officials including princess - M. Ps - Soldiers - police etc. Must spend one month a year at manual labour - in the fields or factory. The crusade for manual labour aims at the leveling of the different classes.
