Cambodian Prince in a Czech school, Prague
Feb. 29 Cambodian Prince In A Czech School: Under the heading of Father's profession in the list of pupils of the elementary school in Bubenec, Prague district, Czechoslovakia, there is a rather unusual entry: Head of the Cambodian State. It refers to young Prince Norodom Sihamoni, son of Prince Norodom Sihanum, who said on a French television broadcast this year that he believed his children would receive the best care, widest knowledge and a democratic and Spartan education at schools in Socialist countries. Two of his other children were educated in China and one in Moscow. The young Prince already speaks Czech well and says he is very fond of his school. Cambodia was formerly part of French Indo-China.
