May 19, 1942 - Canadian soldiers in England get own newspaper: Canada army- England - Interest and enjoyment is evident in the faces of Canadian Troopers D.S. Styan, F.J. McCrecor and Corporal A.H. Williams, left to right, as they read the first issue of The Canadian Press News, weekly newspaper published by the Canadian Government for the benefit of Dominion soldiers stationed in England. Troopers Styan, McCrecor and Williams are all natives of Winnipeg. This picture was made at an army scout car Bivouac in the woods somewhere in England
