Jan. 01, 1953 - Canadian Sabre Jets Handed Over To R.A.F. Sqd. Leader And Sgt. With Their Machines: A Squadron of North American F. 86E. Sabre Jet fighters were handed over to the R.A.F. art Abingdon today by the Canadian High Co missioner Mr. Norman Robertson. They were received by Lord De Luke and Dudley on behalf of the R.A.F. and are the first machines of over 300 al location to Britain under agreement between Canada - USA and the United Kingdom.
