Captain Jean MacDowall receives medal at Kneller Hall
Oct. 10, 1954 - Prize day at the Royal Military School of Music: Captain Jean MacDowall, of the WRAC, today received the Silver Medal, for the best all around student of the The McBain (1954) Class from Major-General J.G. Cowley, C.B. C.B.E. A.M. Chief of Staff, Eastern Command, at the prize giving ceremony at Kneller Hall. She also received other prizes for the best student of the year. Photo shows Capt. Jean MacDowall and Student Bandmaster R. Mott, who won the Commandant's prize for the Best Quick March are cheered by fellow students after they had received their prizes today
