Dec. 12, 1953 - Interdicting the new danish all-plastic car government supported venture to produce 2, 000 a year. Two Danish Engineers have just produced a new type of car which will be mass produced in a new plastic meteorically known as Polyester plastic which is a strong as steel- stainless and splinter proof and repairs to it are very much more simple than to a conventional car. For production the danish government has subscribed 45, 000 kroner and it will be made in a factory at thirsted, northern justland that is being loosened to the engineers free for the first ton years. The expect to produce 2, 000 cars a year and they will weigh 700 kegs. will have room for six people - four wheel drive and fitted with Lockheed hydraulic brakes - and will be fitted with there cylinder-engines. photo shows One of the designers Svend Aage, Mathiesen and manager F. Gabielsen who will take care of the production - seen with a one fifth soals model of the new car - which will be the first danish car ever made
