Oct. 10, 1956 - Bus Blows its top: A double Decker bus with a completely detachable plastic reinforced fiber glass roof, giving protection from bad weather and allowing the enjoyment of good, was a feature of a recent show of commercial vehicles in London and indicative of a growing British trend towards the use of plastics for lightweight body construction.
