Dec. 19 Traffic Exhibition Munich 1953 the Swiss firm Orlikoln invented the first bus of the world operated with fly-wheel energy. The gyrobus is charged with electrical energy every three kilometers by setting going a large swinging block which weighs 1.5 tons. This block then generates the electric current which drives the motor of the bus. The first gyrobus is to be taken into service in Switzerland in September 1953
