Feb. 25 Ice-bound roads dislocate traffic One of the worst traffic hold-ups in the history of London Transport in the London area early today, was caused by ice-bound roads following a fall of snow, which froze. Everywhere, people were late for work as they abandoned buses to walk. They left behind them a train of ice-stranded vehicles.
