Feb. 26 P.M. of September 8, 1967 For 1968, Cadillac continues to blend luxury, convenience and safety. On the inside, a new instrument panel (upper left) is composed of crushable structural components with more cushioning surrounding the recessed automatic climate control outlet and a low reflective material used on the padded steering wheel. Door handles are recessed (upper right) into the side of the arm rests and molded inner door panels are used for a more pleasing appearance. Also recessed in the arm rest are door warning indicators which have been a feature on Cadillacs for the past several years. Front side marker lights are tastefully blended into the cornering lights on all models and show amber when headlights are on. Rear side marker lights show red and are distinctively designed into the outer ends of the bumpers on standard Cadillacs (lower left) and into the wreath and crest emblem on the Eldorado (lower right)
