Feb. 29 There'll always be a trolleybus....... As a means of transportation the Trolleybus is becoming rapid extinct in England and will soon be counted as one of the rees and glories of the past. Leslie Lepine-Smith of Great Bookham, Surrey feels very strongly about trolleybuses and as a member of the National Trolleybus Association of Great Britain he does considerably more than his fair share. Whenever the Association buy up an old model tend it with care and negotiate furiously to give it a run on one of the existing trolleybus systems, now far and few afield, they call in Leslie Lepine-Smith to drive it. Mr. Lepine-Smith runs an electrical and radio business but spends most of his spare time fussing over and nursing elderly and pensioned-off trolleybuses. Leslie Lepine-Smith believes in wearing the right gear for the right occasion. Picture shows him in his Bookham, Surrey, garden wearing a 1936 London Transport uniform jacket; beside him a one-third scale model trolleybus
