Mar. 22 An old car from Hitler's desert war has created: hard feeling among the farmers in southern Sweden. Maybe it isn't so strange: a VW from 1939 painted with German swastikes and death skulls does not awake the nicest memories. The owner, Fred von Schinkel, sees differently on his precious property: as an unusually funny veteran car with an unusually interesting history. The car was originally delivered to Rommel to make great achievements in his desert war. The car (eligible) it all right, but Rommel didn't, as well known. So the car was ordered home and sent to Norway, where it served as a signaller car. Later on it was torned down and sold to a careful car dealer, who rebuilt it and made it inot what it is to-day. The new owner, Fred von Schinkel, has had the car registered and is now driving around on the roads in southern Sweden. With the whole family squed into the car he loves to go on shopping-trips. But it ian't popular among the population. People doesn't like to see German swastikas on car-doors, no matter how rare the car is
