Feb. 26 INTRODUCED THE WORLD'S SMALLEST MOTORCYCLE. Announced as the smallest practicable motorcycle, hobbyist Philip Gloor, of Burgdorf (Canton Borne), Switzerland, has constructed this mini-motorcycle. The wheels have a diameter of 5.5 centimeters (slightly more than two inches), it has a 5 c.c motor, and runs on nitromethancle developing a speed of 20 km. per hour at 17, 000 r.p.m The biggest accessory is a battery which is mounted on the frame in front of the engine. The best feature of this mini motorcycle is the running costs it can travel some distance with a filling not bigger than a fountain pen.
