Feb. 26 Anglo-Irish car aimed at American Market; A prototype of the Shamrock, a sports sedan with an all plastic body, has been demonstrated in England. Aimed primarily at the American market - immediate plans are to demonstrate it at exhibition in California - it will, according to its manufacturers, be assembled in Eire from main parts and materials made in Britain. With a 8 ft - 2 wheel base, the Shamrock is a four seater with 4 cylinder overhead valve engine, and a 12 volt American electrical system. Photo Shows The Shamrock as a sports car.
