Baily, of 45 East Levering Mill Road, Bala-Cynwyd, Pa. is driving his 1914 Simplex in the Anglo-American Vintage Car Rally which is taking two teams of ten drivers through some of the loveliest regions of the British countryside. Here he makes a final tire check before leaving Alnwick, in Northumberland, on his route southward. Alnwick Castle, in the background, is one of the most impressive of English mediaeval fortresses, and has seen 800 years of border history
