Mar. 31 New Fiat Cars on Display at 3rd International Motor show at Geneva, Switzerland. the 3rd Motor show will last from March 15 to March 25, 1973. In occasion of this event, the Internationally famous automobile factory points out to the fact that Fiat produced, in 1972, a total of 1, 661, 500 cars. Among these 650, 000 were exported to foreign countries. This Photo Shows one of the new Fiat cars in the streets of Geneva. It's the Fiat 126 car. Within only four months, 150, 000 citizens ordered this new comfortable 4 seater which arrives at a maximum speed of more than 105 KM.P.H. The engine is in the rear and has two cylinders, air cooled and a power of 23 HP ('Din'), each wheel is independent. It's a simple car and very easy to maneuver. This Fiat 126 car is not only produced in Turin but also in the new Fiat plant at Cassino (South of Rome) where an average of one thousand cars are being produced by South Italian workers.
