Car Parts - Engines - Tire - Transportation - Vehicles

Apr. 05 Tricky tractor: A British firm has designed a low-seat, high-clearance tractor which it calls a tractor driver's tractor because it has several features to make things easier for the man at the wheel. The rear-wheel width can be altered by power-operated equipment; implements can be attached and released without the driver's leaving his seat, and forward motion stopped without interrupting work in progress. Known as the D 270, the machine can be powered by either a gasoline or diesel engine. Photo shows the D 270 at work with a combine harvester in Lincolnshire, England.
