Apr. 18 Philippine Taxi displayed in Tokyo : One of the much decorated philippine Jeepneys which are the popular means of transport in Manila, and throughout the Philippine islands is on display in Ginza street Tokyo in order to attract Japanese tourists. The brightly coloured vehicles act as buses, and carry a dozen or more passengers at cheap fares.
