Apr. 17 Introducing the Chaletvan British built caravan for the combination motor cyclist: A British firm Carshomes of Walton on Thames, Surrey, have produced the first Caravan for the motor cyclist. Called the Chalstvan it is built to be towed by a 360 cc or 500 cc motor cycle with sidecar. It weights just under 4 1/2 owt and contains adequate comforts for Mr. and Mrs. Motorcyclist and if necessary the child. It is in tow sections a kitchen, with draining board, sink, space for gas grill and cyclinder, and a bedroom lounge containing two full size single berths that serve also as lockers, and as couched on each side of a folling table. There is also a warddrobe and other locker space and room to fit a child's folding berth. It is priced at only125 and is thus the smallest lightest and cheapest caravan yet produced.
