Oct. 13, 1961 - The New Rover T4 Gas Turbine Car.140 Brake Horse Power Enginee--The New T4 Gas Turbine Car of the Rover Company - has been announced. It is desoribed as the first prototype desigend with the possibility of future production in mind - but the prototype will not be on show at the Earls Court Motor Shownext week - and it will not be demonstrated to the press until next - Spring.The engine production the equivalent of 140 brake horse power.and is mounted in the front of the 4 door - 4 Seater Saboon - which is rather different from the usual Rover car, Fuel Consumption, running on Kerosene or paraffic is less than that of the 1956 T3 Prototype
