Jul. 07, 1961 - Campaign Mud-Detainer': Think of the cars following you This is the parole of a campaign for improving security in road-traffic, launched by a Swedish car factory in Germany. As often an over-taking car spreads the mud on to the window panes of the following car, this has to be prevented as it means danger in traffic. Rubber flaps behind the hind wheels of the car catch all little stones, mud and water which other wise would be thrown at the following car. These mud-detainer are distributed for all kinds of cars party without charge and for the other part very cheaply. A very good share to improving security on the roads
